I looked this up because I wanted to hear him deliver it. I was
surprised it was so short. Anyway, I also thought he wasn't terribly
convincing. He over-hyped it, badly, in my opinion. I mean, I'm not
for the extent of the surveillance going on by any means, but after
watching that, even knowing what I think I know, I started to pull
away from his side of the argument. If I felt that way, it's no
wonder the fence-sitters aren't buying in.
"worldwide mass surveillance, watching everything we do."
We aren't watched 24 /7 by the government or anyone else. Yes, we
carry "tracking" devices, but they aren't terribly reliable. Leave it
home and go about your business. We aren't chained to them yet.
"child born today will grow up with no conception of privacy at all. "
?? Only if we don't teach them. 'no conception...at all' is way over the top.
I wondered if others who watched, rather than read, his message, had
a similar reaction.

Sooner or later, I hate to break it to you, you're gonna die, so how
do you fill in the space between here and there? It's yours. Seize your space.
