Link discussion on the 'cost of living' possibly a starting point might be
the economists ' Big Mac' index or OECD comparative tax rates or business
cost indexes.
A quick and dirty look at actual tax payments by corporates vs SMEs vs
PAYEs tells the lie on who is paying for what.
The more Link relevant discussion is how such an enquiry relates to the
discussion of e-sales/purchases, GST and the impact on retailers.
2 cents worth from distant sands :) where market distortions are broad and
deep.
