The Pew Research Center "Mobile Connections to Libraries" reports that
13% of Americans have accessed library websites via mobile device in the
last year:
http://libraries.pewinternet.org/files/legacy-pdf/PIP_MobileConnectionsToLibraries.pdf

This might be considered the modern version of the bookmobile:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bookmobile

But mobile access is still less than the 27% of people who visited a
library in person at least once a month in person. The report released
31 December 2012 is by Lee Rainie, Kathryn Zickuhr and Maeve Duggan and
is 12 pages (1Mbyte).
