Yes, and in my case being on Vic EdDpt Release-to-Industry and being
the Education Manager for Schools.net (the ISP for 90% of all Aussie
schools then) we both did what was possible with existing technology.
As may Tom, with his online students now. But, I'm also saying, that
with the necessary incorporation and popularity of social networking
to such an increasing extent, in current and future online education,
in my opinion online education is now revolutionary not evolutionary.
And that when we get online-education more closely right, imho, it'll
then be THE most important world utilization of the Internet.. by far.
Any arguments? I'd like to know what linkers think. Besides perhaps a
lifesaving individual medical use how might the net be more important
in world terms in future besides for broadly defined world education?
Eg, business? entertainment? media? communications? socializing? How?
Cheers,
Stephen
