The NTSB released data on the speed of the aircraft several days ago. This
data was taken from the Flight Data Recorder on the plane (ie, the black
box).

 34 seconds before the impact they were travelling at 134 knots, below the
planned approach speed of 137 knots.  From that point, the speed continued
to drop before reaching a low of 103 knots shortly before impact.
