[LINK] Killer robots and military ethics

It'll be interesting to see whether things have moved on during the 
last 20 years.  I fear not.  See:

I pondered ethical aspects of the use of drones *by the media* before 
the Press Council recently:

But the surveillance threat pales a bit in comparison with 
remote-controlled and even semi-autonomous death-dealing drones.

I'm a bit worried about the venue though, which appears to be in Gunnedah.
