Some points from their FAQ around data.
Sylvano
----------------------------------
How is my usage calculated?
https://www.aldimobile.com.au/help#support-437
The table below shows you how different call charges are billed and
deducted from your mobile credit.
Standard charges cost
All standard calls billed per minute
Standard TXT (national) billed per 160 chararcters
Data charged at 5c/MB, billed per MB
Call connection fee No charge
(national calls)
Calls to Sensis billed per call and per minute
----------------------------------
How is my data measured?
https://www.aldimobile.com.au/help#support-349
The data supplied with your ALDImobile service is measured in Megabytes,
which means if your internet session transfers 490 Kilotbytes (about
0.49MB) of data, then an entire megabyte is counted.
If you are on a PAYG plan, and find you are going through your plan
value too quickly from data usage, consider upgrading to our Unlimited
plan, which has 5GB data allowance, or buying a 2GB Data Bolt-on for
your PAYG plan.
----------------------------------
What happens when I use all my data? Do I get charged for excess data?
https://www.aldimobile.com.au/help#support-427
If you are on a Pay As You Go plan, data is deducted from your available
credit balance. When you run out of available value on your credit
balance, data, and all other service types (Outgoing calls, SMS & MMS)
will not be possible unless you recharge.
If you have an additiona Bolt-on such as the 2GB Data Bolt-on, or the
Unlimited Bolt-on (includes 5GB), then your data will be deducted from
the included data allowance on your Bolt-on until you have used it all
up (or it expires).
If you have used all of your available data allowance from your Botl-on,
or it has expired, data will then be charged and value will be depleted
from your credit balance from your Pay as You go Plan (provided you have
available value).
