one question -- where does the water drain without curbed channels?

I wish they had done this sort of thing in my village of Berwick
instead of the monstrosity of a boulevard intersection with 3 sets of
traffic lights in a row within 50 meters of each other. What a
nightmare that is. And they've done it twice -- once at the main
intersection and also at the train station crossing to the south of
town. Same planners?

Our truest response to the irrationality of the world is to paint or
sing or write, for only in such response do we find truth.
