[LINK] Patent demands by big players may backfire - Kim DotCom and two factor authentication

This Guardian article links to the patent.  They researched it and found
prior art and that Kim DotCom's patent had been cancelled in Europe due
to a challenge from Ericsson, one of the companies which apparently
registered similar patents around 1994:
