[LINK] comparative computer knowledge and skills

                         Is there any way of knowing how someone 
compares in terms of computer knowledge and skills? Do other people know 
more than me/less/the same.

                        Said as a late Gen X person who was brought up 
with Zardax, multiscribe and no internet [a decade before that happened] 
. Self-taught from a hodge podge of net articles, books and some 
subscription sites. I have never studied computers or computer science 
formally and have no qualifications in those areas. Yet I believe, 
sincerely, from the messing about that I have done that I am "good" at 
computer focused thinking. For instance I installed Ruby On Rails 
myself. Was that a great achievement? No. But I had to work it out 
myself; the instructions on the website were wrong.
