They interviewed one of the guys developing this business on Red
Simons this morning. He said the current flying range was 1km, but
with better battery life, they are hoping for 5km. I guess that would
work in a CBD, but not in a spread out community. One wonders about
the logistics of warehouse location and student location, even within
a 5km radius. How will the contraptions make it back to base?
And what about those that are 'nabbed' after delivery by the kid next
door who happens to spot one coming in for a landing. Equipment loss
won't be small.
