I want to thank Rick for asking this question because it sent me
looking at the blog. This line in a posting last week gave me a chuckle:

"I jacked a visitor's badge from the Eisenhower Executive Office
Building in Washington, DC, last month. ... I kept the badge. I used
my body as a shield, and the chain made a satisfying noise when it
hit bottom. The guard let me through the gate. "

Interesting considerations of humans, machines and trust.

Sooner or later, I hate to break it to you, you're gonna die, so how
do you fill in the space between here and there? It's yours. Seize your space.
