> The National Archives of Australia is pleased to announce the date for this year’s Information Awareness Month Conference, to be held in Canberra on Thursday 29 May.
> Join us for this one day event to hear speakers exploring the theme of Information: the currency of the digital economy.
> The conference will focus on the value of information as a business and economic asset to the Government and the nation and examine information management as a basis for effective governance and enabler for innovation. It will provide an opportunity to discuss the Government’s policies in relation to eGovernment and the digital economy.
> Speakers will cover a wide range of topics such as information management for better policy outcomes, better service delivery, open government, whole-of-government enterprise content management, freedom of information and privacy and information security.
