In a word: Facebook.
Generational change is going to kill it. An article in the last 
couple weeks exposed that the younger ones are off to the next new 
thing. It's the oldies who were convinced by the early adopters to 
learn it and now have stuck with it. That group is a self-limiting 
market by virtue of not being immortal.
