[LINK] Telstra experience today

I just got my Telstra landline bill saying it was overdue. Outrageous
(I thought). I am quite meticulous about paying my bills. Looked at
my last bill, yep there's the receipt number I had written on it. Go
into my online banking, looking for payment while waiting on phone
for bank to answer to explain why it didn't go to my phone bill.
Dammit, I have a ref number. Guess what. I messed up and paid my
Internode account (via net banking) instead of Telstra. The two were
next to each other on the pick list. Thank god I was still on hold
and could hang up before totally embarrassing myself.

But wait, there's more.

I have joined the tweeps on Twitter, so I thought I'd give Telstra a
kudos because they didn't charge me an overdue charge. Yeah, I
checked the last bill and this one. No extra $15. So I tweeted this
as a good news report about Telstra, figuring we all need a few right
about now. And within minutes I had a response back from Scott at
Telstra saying 'No problems!'. Yes, companies with any smarts are
watching their twitter feeds. Office Works does, too, if you have any
issues with them.

There you go.

Sooner or later, I hate to break it to you, you're gonna die, so how
do you fill in the space between here and there? It's yours. Seize your space.
