I have had no problems making (and receiving) SWIFT payments through St. 
George Bank. I have used it to pay international conference fees and 
receive payments from Google.

Also I have used Pay Pal for making and receiving payments without 
problems. LuLu pay book sales via Pay Pal.

The only problem is that Lulu withhold tax, which they say they send to 
the US Government. Google have an online form allowing you to enter an 
Australian tax number to avoid this, but Lulu do not and the paperwork 
is daunting.
