Assuming caller has a smart phone, wouldn't a QR Code on the door be
sufficient? The caller would scan the code with their smart phone to
contact you.
Perhaps the QR Code could be 3D printed into piece of hinged brass,
which the caller could raise and release as a backup door notification
device: an e-knocker? ;-)
