Gridlock can only be addressed by Mass Transit/Public Transport. The rest of the time, there is 
plenty of unused road surface for electric and driverless cars. There is often even unused surface 
on the same road, just in the opposite direction to the gridlock.

Do the Maths! Source Parking Spot, Travel Location, Destination Parking. How much land and money can 
we give to roads?

High Speed Rail Sydney-Newcastle will cost the same as Westconnex with a better ROI.
