I heard an interview with Sulette Dreyfus in which the journo asked a
series of unprovoked questions involving China, including whether it
was possible that China attacked the Census, and Dreyfus kinda replied
something along the lines of 'well it's not impossible, but I doubt
the Chinese state would be behind such a noisy attack'.  A few hours
later the news subheading was 'Expert says China may be behind
attack'.

Yup.

I haven't head anyone even try to explain or justify why ABS kept
asking people to try again in fifteen minutes long after they'd
decided to shut the thing down.
