Further to elections and electronic voting, I'm surprised that noone has 
mentioned the Online Direct Democrary group that fielded candidates.

Seems they did for 2007 and 2013 elections, then known as Senator 
Online... I had not heard of them before but noted them on the ballot 
paper. My partner voted for them and we are thinking of joining them. 
Obviously its gonna take a big change for them to get anywhere - and 
high speed internet :-)
