[LINK] [EFA-Privacy] Tehan says bill is before the Parliament

As of mid October it is finally 'before Parliament'. Long overdue - promised as a condition of the data retention law in 2015, promised several times in 2015 and early 2016, but unlikely to pass in 2016.

Did we know this?

Tehan at Press Club just said the Data Breach Notification Bill is before Parliament.

He also said that any device connected to the Internet can be a "cyber WEAPON".
