IMHO, a fine example of Public Service spin

Here's a few facts. Make up your own mind.

As of December 18th, over the life of PCEHR/MyHealthRecord 479,812
Shared Health Summaries (SHS) have ever been uploaded. They can't be
edited so any time one is updated, a new one is uploaded.

If you assume that, on average each SHS has been updated once, that
means 239,906 people have a SHS. That's fewer than 1% of the population
have the most basic health care document in their My Health Record. All
others can be considered as empty. I have one and all that is in it are
two prescriptions. The record doesn't even show that they have been
dispensed.

The rate at which people have been registering for a My Health Record
(and that's after the government pre-registered 1million people in a
trial of opt-out registration has fallen to an all time low of about
2,400/day from a high of about 3,500/day

Tim Kelsey has a degree in History and from 1988 to 200 worked as a
journalist/reporter and has published a book: "Dervish: The Invention of
Modern Turkey"

His stint in the UK is universally considered as a total failure.

The (sort of current Health Minister) Sussan Ley has no health related
qualifications at all.

Martin Bowles, the current Secretary of the department of Health has a
Bachelor of Business from the Capricornia Institute of Advanced
Education and a Graduate Certificate of Public Sector Management from
Griffith University

Jane Halton, the Departmental secretary before Martin Bowles,  has a
degree in Psychology. She had her wrist slapped for insisting on being
referred to a "Professor" even though she was only an adjunct professor.

Paul Madden, the department's "strategic health systems and information
management special adviser" is a project manager and before he joined
the Department of Health he project managed the Standard Business
Reporting Program for Treasury. Paul is Health's primary representative
on the board of ADHA and takes his directions from the minister.

Other Health ministers involved with PCEHR/My Health Record include Tony
Abbott and Peter Dutton.
