In response to the article that was posted to this list by Antony Barry about climate change and the internet, I think the internet is good for us and we really need to find ways of generating electricity that are better for the environment, so that we can continue to have our enjoyed activities such as the internet, we already have solar and wind power which the use of is increasing, a problem I can see is when the solar and wind power hardware wears out, for example if a solar panel is damaged by hailstorms, how is it going to be repaired without costing too much and the environmental cost of doing the repairs.

What I am wondering is how are we going to solve the problem of plastic waste (plastic garbage) that there is more and more of it. My mum says that biodegradable plastic bags are not very good since animals cannot eat biodegraded plastic, even if they don't get caught in it in the sea since it turns into tiny particles which has partially fixed the problem, she says now we need it to biodegrade into edible materials, without wasting food, is there a way to do that, maybe it can biodegrade into plant matter somehow, which can somehow be used to fertilize new plants?

The two sections I found on the futurism website are:

https://futurism.com/neoscope

https://futurism.com/the-byte

When I went to the-byte page I found an interesting article about trying to replicate nuclear fusion like what occurs on the sum - and presumably to be able to contain it without turning the earth into another sun.

https://futurism.com/the-byte/china-artificial-sun-operational-2020

One of the problems with having lots of forrests of trees to turn more carbon dioxide back into oxygen, but then there are bushfires which generate smoke and are presumably not good for the environment? The fires on the clyde mountain between batemans bay and canberra is that the source of all of the present smoke over canberra and the continuous "smoke" warnings on the bureau of meterology website (bom)?

http://www.bom.gov.au/act/forecasts/canberra.shtml

I was complaining about smokers persistently smoking in the belconnen bus interchange despite the no-smoking signs, and now we have bushfire smoke everywhere from a long way away, and coming into our homes and polluting the air with smoke, and it's not really anyone's fault from what I can see.

Jevan.

The general kind of things I do are online (via the internet) friends and activity partners for chat and hobbies, and volunteer or paid work as a staff employee or freelancer/contractor, for work I have a manager(s) or supervisor to manage me, or a mentor to advocate for my opinions and requests. Most of the people I interact with are female. Everyone I interact with are adults age 18 or above. Sometimes I pay people to do work for me, such as writing a report. I am interested in choosing/forming and paying a team of freelancers at their hourly rates to participate in a recorded brainstorming video chat online short session(s), for example 30 minutes one-off or occasionally, to discuss ideas and issues that I think up, for possible upload to the internet such as onto my YouTube channel. Whenever I pay staff to work for me, I do it on a prepaid basis, so that they only work for time I have already paid them for. I sometimes interact as friends with people that have any disabi!
 lity (phy
sical or mental) since I think that is a good way to "give back" to Centrelink for all their financial help to me through disability support pension that I receive due to my schizophrenia and aspergers, and also, through karma, if I help disabled people through friendship then someone might help me with my disabilities, and also, they really appreciate when I chat with them online. I am age 47 male. I work from home wherever possible, otherwise I am able to come into the workplace anytime I choose during the business's working hours without any notice or appointment, preferably late afternoon or evening.
