[LINK] PayPal security and account verification

Thanks for the responses so far: I may well contact the bank directly, but I’m not sure that this places any pressure on PayPal to resolve the issue. And I do speak German, so that’s not an issue for me (but it seems to be for PayPal).

That aside, I note that PayPal now prevents me from trying to log in using this person’s credentials by not offering to send a message to the phone number (which is masked so impossible to see). This is either promising, or the system prevents multiple attempts which only annoy the user (not me). 

Still amazing that an organisation like PayPal is so ill-equipped to deal with this kind of thing, or simply doesn’t care.

I also note that my email messages to PayPal are now being ignored. I’ll give it a few more days to see what transpires.

A shame also that their system doesn’t allow emails to be sent from an authorised email address into their system (I have to use their web interface).
