Gee, I wonder if they've ever heard of Occam's razor  - the simplest
solution tends to be the right one.

Rather than consider observer consciousness to be "mind-matter
interaction" consider observer consciousness to be an emergent property,
just like all the other emergent properties that complex non-linear
systems display as they scale up.
