I noticed this myself a couple of weeks back. I would have to politely 
describe this as a massive stuff up. The app appears to be working 
because the notification looks the same as it always has, except it's 
actually not working at all.

Fortunately due to the auto-update issue maybe nobody has that version 
anyway?!
