[LINK] Are extended electricity outages impacting telecommunications (NBN users)

Hi,

I didn't know this, but in areas serviced by NBN fixed wireless and NBN sky muster, people can keep their copper lines.  The problem is that Telstra no longer maintains the exchanges so the battery backup is no longer working in many cases.
