People reported hearing sounds in their heads and it turned out to be
the fillings causing it. It is quite disturbing because they thought
they were hearing 'voices', which is a common element of
schizophrenia. So not irrelevant at all.
i have no idea how this new methods would distinguish a certain
individual picking up the sound. It said it would use a 3D model of
some sort. If it works and can discriminate, so be it. Go for your
life.
