            Throughout history, conflicts were fought in physical
            locations – across Land, Maritime and Air domains, and more
            recently in Space. Information and Cyber comprise what is
            known as the 5th Warfighting Domain. This shift has occurred
            due to the impacts of technology, with an increased
            dependence on interconnected IT systems, social and physical
            networks, and the electromagnetic spectrum. Success in the
            5th Domain will be crucial in any potential future conflict.
