This myth was disputed during ~2018 by
https://www.afr.com/companies/financial-services/data-is-safer-in-the-cloud-than-in-the-bank-nab-20190730-p52c2t
and all CSP support Kubernetes so there is no lock in.

The Bank of England also consulted with

in the recent past too.
