[LINK] Australia takes the IPO bronze medal

The ASX had  240 new IPO listings last year – the most since 2007.

Only the US and China had more listings in 2021.

•         Globally, US$610bn was raised from IPOs.
•         3,097 companies listed across the world last year.
•         Electric vehicle company Rivian was the biggest international IPO (US$13.7bn)
•         $13bn in capital was raised through ASX IPOs
•         ASX IPOs (17%) had better average performance than the ASX 200 index (13%).
•         Half of new ASX listings were mining companies.
