The world's largest tram network has run on 100% solar energy since 2020.

And during that time, our solar powered trams have clocked up quite the journey.

A massive 82 million kilometres.

That's the equivalent of 5,466 trips round mainland Australia. 213 trips to the moon.

And too many laps round the MCG to count.

Our solar trams prevent more than 80,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions every year - and will help us halve the state's emissions by 2030.

One small step for the climate, one giant leap for Victoria.
