Some parts of the Australian Defence Force might have acquired Starlink 
terminals unofficially, I expect. The ADF has its own hardware on an 
Optus satellite, hopefully with that customer data better protected than 
for others. ;-)

The Optus satellite is coming to the end of its life and there is a 
project for new stuff. Starlink probably was not under consideration, 
being a purely civilian system, but after recent experience in the 
Ukraine, that might change.

In the interim, Australia buys capacity on civilian providers, and 
borrows some from the US military:
