Or Microsoft?
We need good Linker advice, and PC laptop technical opinions?
Sigh .. this morning one wakes up to 80-90% and four or five years
of our saved Text & Graphic files now GONE from our Windows laptop?
Without a warning, and without either our knowledge, or permission,
Windows have apparently moved (or hidden) our files onto One Drive?
Obviously I'm running a fully legal and paid-for version of Windows
on my computer. And I have not even registered with their One Drive
Thus far, they've made it apparently impossible to undo the action?
Anyone had this happen to them? All Microsoft are offering is free
membership of One Drive with limited storage and access provisions.
With no mention of where my files are. And, even if they have them!
Cheeky bastards. Now I'm wanting to shift completely from Microsoft.
So, has any Linker experienced this? Or have advice on re-claiming
our files, without signing-up to their horrible One Drive 'service'
Sigh, sounds like months of work building a comparable nix laptop?
We knew it was coming, but not so soon .. like right now? Thieves!
We've just moved to Thunderbird. Now, it's not enough, apparently?
Not happy, Jan .. and everyone. :-(
