Hi!
Y'all have probably read enough critiques of this stinker:
Exposure DraftCommunications Legislation Amendment (Combatting
Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2023
<https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/department/media/publications/communications-legislation-amendment-combatting-misinformation-and-disinformation-bill-2023>
but if you want to read mine, it is at:
https://www.firstpr.com.au/issues/
My big page of links to and discussion of the immune system's need for
at least 125 nmol/L 25 ng/mL circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D (as
measured in "vitamin D" blood tests):
https://vitamindstopscovid.info/00-evi/
There is an article
https://brownstone.org/articles/vitamin-d-everything-you-need-to-know/
which covers much of this, and has a cheerful robotic voice version, if
you want to listen to it. However, my primary aim is to encourage
people to read the research themselves, rather than accept what I write.
For most 70 kg (154 lb) people who are not suffering from obesity, a
daily (on average, it can be taken once every 7 to 10 days) intake of
vitamin D2 cholecalciferol of 0.125 mg (5000 IU) will generally attain,
after several months, 125 nmol/L 25 ng/mL circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin
D, which is 1 part in 20,000,000 by mass.
"Five thousand international units" sounds like a lot, but it is 1/8 of
a milligram. Per day, this is a gram every 22 years. Pharma grade
vitamin D3 costs about USD$2.50 a gram.
Less than 125 nmol/L circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D raises risks of a
plethora of diseases and chronic conditions, including Parkinson's
disease and most or all of the other age-related neurodegenerative
conditions. I am trying to be brief. This may sound too simple to be
true, but please read the research for yourself.
I also have a Substack: https://nutritionmatters.substack.com.
Best regards
Robin Daylesford, Victoria.
