Someone wants me to use WhatsApp. I installed it. It did not impress.

It immediately informed me about 104 of my contacts who also apparently
use WhatsApp. I assume it will have informed them about me. It forced
me to share my status updates with at least one other WhatsApp using
contact. It did not permit a blank "About" field. Read receipts cannot
be turned off for group chats. I can't stop others adding me to group
chats. I cannot mass-block contacts.

And it's owned by Meta.

I'm wondering what the brains trust thinks of it.
