Google's Post-Incident Report on its UniSuper stuff-up
https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/infrastructure/details-of-google-cloud-gcve-incident

A media report on it:
UniSuper's Google cloud deletion traced to "blank parameter" in setup
https://www.itnews.com.au/news/unisupers-google-cloud-deletion-traced-to-blank-parameter-in-setup-608286

It appears that UniSuper had appropriate backup and recovery
arrangements in place. The organisation seems to have taken a while to
get into gear, but it appears that the recovery worked okay.
