Karamap is a joke!

IT would be most appreciated if you can include this short letter in your
Viewpoint section.
The National Aids Council has now decided to call condom "karamap''
(Post-Courier, February 28).
This is all very well and the real intention is good. However, karamap, a
common tok pisin word will, from now on, carry a different connotation far
from its literal meaning.
And one may find that persons of both sexes may find its usage embarrassing
especially in the streets.
Aren't there any other words either in motu or tolai and so on to choose
from?
I foresee a lot of jokes coming out from the new usage of karamap.
