I just saw a screening of the film "Breaking Bows and Arrows"
(directed by Liz Thompson) last night
(http://www.firelight.com.au/break1.html). The movie is about the
reconciliation process on Bougainville. Here are some words being
used in Tok Pisin speech by people on Bougainville:

kraisis = crisis

hat = heart (i.e., soul); used instead of "lewa"

Resistans = anti-B.R.A. movement

rekonsail = reconcile

preparasen = preparation (used instead of "redim")

sarim = to share (instead of "skelim")

relativ = relatives

fas na fait = "fuss and fight"; I suspect this is derived from
Jamaican Creole English ("fuss 'n' fight") via reggae music

grev = grave (instead of "hul bilong matmat")

kofin = coffin (instead of the old circumlocution in Mihalic "bokis
bilong putim skin bilong man i dai pinis")
