[Mihalic] Pocket Vocabulary 1942

Helton (c. 1940) wrote a booklet around that time that corroborates 
paper money as "money kunda" (p. 39).  No reference is made to that 
meaning of namba.  Sleep is defined as "sleep (to lie down)" (p. 44), 
which would be consistent with sleeptroo (below).
