Yes, _bingsu_ is the Yabem term defined in Streicher (1982:49, under _bing_
'speech') meaning:

"1. admonition, commandment, exhortation;
"2. the missionary, teacher, i.e., one who admonishes"

(of course, Yabem orthography uses an "n i gat tel" for TP "ng"). I've
certainly heard it in parts of Morobe where Yabem was/is used as a
missionary language (but I don't know about Kate areas). While it may be
used as a general reference for 'pastor', I think it is more commonly used
as a title, attached to the name of such a person, such as _bingsu Yaling_.

(Lutheran) pastor or minister.
Is this widespread as a TP term in Morobe or elsewhere?
