Real whip crackin' stuff
LAPUN na wip yet! That's a Tok Pisin classic term describing older folk who
carry on as if they are still young and can "crack the whip'' in one sense
or another. A Solomon Islands guy in his 60s booked into one of Honiara's
best hotels with K6000 from timber royalties burning a hole in his pocket.
He befriended a young lass and asked her to get him some Viagra. Smart lass
bought him sleeping pills, put him off to sleep and slipped out with his
royalty money!
