Subject: Discovery Channel needs some tokpisin translation work

Folks: I hope you do not mind this quasi-solicitation, but I offered on
behalf of the the Discovery Channel to sent he following:

The Discovery Channel is currently filming a program in the Sepik (somewhere
up near the Korowari Lodge), and they need someone to translate the tokpisin
into English. I did similar translations for them (or National Geographic)
a few years back. They have about 20 hours worth of film, which they will
put on dvd, that needs to be translated. They are looking for one or more
folks to do the work. They charge about US$ 3.00 per minute of translatable
film, which, for the full 20 hours, works out to about $3600. They film
will be ready around the 3rd week of May, and the turn around time is a few
weeks. All you need is your computer. It's not a bad deal if you have the
time. If you are interested, contact not me but:

I may as well say that I have no stake at all in this program; they
contacted me since I did translation work for them once before, but I don't
have the time to do it now.

-Eric.
