ORIENT: Japanese yose-style Rakugo at ANU

The Japan Centre, Faculty of Asian Studies, ANU College of Asia and  
the Pacific is pleased to host an evening of the Japanese yose-style  
Rakugo with three story-telling 'masters' which will be held as follows.

1. Date&Time: Monday 22 May, starting at 5.30pm
2. Venue: Great Hall, University House, ANU
3. Admission: Gold coin donation, please.
4. BYOZ: Bring your own Zabuton or cushion
5. Program:
    (1) Rakugo (Story-telling) "Kami-ire (Wallet)" by Sanshootei Charaku
    (2) Nokogiri Mandan (Story-telling with a saw) by Miyakoya Utaroku
	Intermission (Sake and some other drinks and snacks will be served.)
    (3) Kamikiri (Paper cutting) by Hayashiya Imamaru
    (4) Rakuto (Story-telling) "Funa-Toku (Toku the Boatman)" by  
Sanshootei Charaku

Stories will be told in Japanese, however, there will be English sub- 
titles shown via a PowerPoint presentation.

Association in Japan.
