ORIENT: Faculty Meeting - 28th Jun 06

Dear Colleagues:

I've just started to hear comment about the clash of dates between the Asian
Studies Conference (26th - 29th June) and the next Faculty meeting (28th
June). 

This is a bit disappointing because whilst I scour the ANU calendars for
possible clashes before resolving on Faculty Meeting dates - conference
dates like those of the Asian Studies Conference don't normally get a
mention and therefore the clash wasn't picked up - by me - or by anyone else
for that matter. The Faculty meeting dates were published in the last
Faculty Meeting Agenda of 7th April.

Clearly the Asian Studies Conference takes priority over even a Faculty
Meeting - so the Faculty Meeting will have move to 7th July at 9.30am in the
MILLS ROOM - 4th Floor Chancelry Bldg. 

If anyone knows of any major clash involving 7th July I'd be pleased to hear
of it ...
