Dear all,

 

I am writing to invite you to attend the Asia-Pacific Learning Community
Forum on how Islamic law co-exists with other forms of law in countries
of our region. I would also like to ask you to forward this invitation
to your colleagues who may be interested in the area as well as to let
your students know about the forum, which will be held in the Dining
Hall at Bruce Hall from 7.30 pm next Wednesday evening. The forum will
be preceded by a dinner to which all students interested in the
Asia-Pacific area and/or in Islamic Studies are invited to attend. They
will need to rsvp to asiapacificlc at gmail.com to attend the dinner. The
event has been posted on Billboard:

attached a poster which has been posted around the university. Guests
for the evening include Mr Anwar Raudin, Minister Counsellor of the
Indonesian Embassy, Mr Dino Kusnadi, First Secretary of the Indonesian
Embassy, Dr Greg Fealy RSPAS, Mr Asmi Wood, College of Law and Ms Saba
Awan, President, ANUMA.
