Dear Colleagues,
I am very glad to inform you that the Academy Professorship Indonesia in

Academy of Sciences (API)--in collaboration with the Gadjah Mada
University are going to organize an international conference on
Indonesia for graduate students form all over the world. The conference
will be held at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, on 15--18 December
2009 with the theme on: "(Re)-Considering The Contemporary Indonesia:
Striving for Democracy, Prosperity, and Sustainability".
I would appreciate it very much if you could assist us in disseminating
this news to your students (Masters and Ph.Ds) and assisting them to
participatein the conferernce. The Steering Committee designed the
schedule for abstract submission as such (end of November 2008) so as to
enable the students preparing their papers well in advance, in
particular for the Indonesian graduate students.
The conference is open for students from various disciplinary
backgrounds with the emphasis on the social and humanity's aspects of
the contemporary Indonesia.
Please find enclosed the files of the conference's theme and objectives,
and the abstract submission form. I also welcome any collaboration from
your universities to be our partners in organizing the conference and in
disseminating the news to your other colleagues in the Australian and
New Zealand universities. For further information, please contact us at
the addresses as mentioned in the enclosed file.
Thank you verey much for your kind assistance and collaboration.
Yours truly,
MA. Yunita T. Winarto, Ph.D.
