Dear Colleagues,

CIMC/Family and Sexual Violence Action Committee in partnership with Dept for Justice and Attorney General (DJAG) and SSMG are hosting the Witch Craft and Sorcery Conference at University of Goroka (UOG). The conference is supported by Australian AID. The Theme of the Conference Is: "SORCERY AND WITCH CRAFT ACCUSATIONS: DEVELOPING A NATIONAL RESPONSE/OVERCOMING THE VIOLENCE" The conference dates are_3-5 December 2013. The conference will bring together academics, policy makers, human rights activists, donors, legal practitioners, members of churches and non-government organizations representatives to engage in constructive dialogue aimed at developing a national response to the issue of sorcery and witch craft related violence. The conference is open to all but those interested will have to register. If you are interested please find attached information on the conference and the registration form.
