Please join us from 4pm on Tuesday November 5 in the Hedley Bull Atrium for the launch of Engendering objects: Dynamics of Barkcloth and Gender among the Maisin of Papua New Guinea (Sidestone Press, 2013) by Dr Anna-Karina Hermkens. Acclaimed author Drusilla Modjeska will launch Anna-Karina Hermken’s book and discuss her own engagement with women’s textile art in PNG and her novel The Mountain (Random House Australia, 2012).

Light refreshments will be available.
