Join us for a day of discussion and celebration from the Pacific Region.
Forum: Atua: A continuum
10.00 am – 2.00 pm | Presented in conjunction with the Atua: Scared Gods from Polynesia exhibition this forum explores the traditions of Pacific Culture, scared spaces in contemporary pacific art and contemporary community connections.
Guest speakers from around the nation discuss theAtua exhibition and the rich living cultures of the Pacific Region.
Atua: Polynesian community celebration
2.00–4.00 pm | Featuring performance from the local Tongan community, dance theatre by Lisa Fa'alafi of Polytoxic from Brisbane and the energy of Samoan dance with Tama Tatau from Melbourne.
